Greetings To Everyone,
If you missed the bus trip, you missed a GOOD TIME! Everything was better than we anticipated. All the gardeners were so eager to answer all of our questions. Each garden had something special to offer. I think many of us left with new ideas to incorporate into our own gardens. Kudos to the Miami Valley Hosta Society Members who opened their gardens to our club. What a wonderful day we shared in the gardens.
Get ready for our next fun event! Mike Shadrack at the Manchester Inn, 1027 Manchester Ave. Middletown, OH–12:00 PM, Saturday, September 11.
This will be a joint meeting with the MVHS. Mike Shadrack has been a member of the AHS since 1992 and is currently Vice-President of Publications. He has also been a member of the British Hosta & Hemerocallis Society for 21 years, is former Chairman and currently their executive Bulletin Editor. Please check the Calendar page, for more information about Mike. You will need to send your reservations to Carol Kilberg, 6735 Gillen Lane, Miamisburg, OH 45342. Lunch will be served at 12:00 followed by Mike's talk. The cost is $20.00 per person.
PLEASE NOTE DATE AND TIME CHANGE FOR THE OCTOBER MEETING IN YOUR YEAR BOOK. The date for the October meeting has been changed to October 30 and the time has been changed to 12:00. Speaker to be announced.
A special THANK YOU for all of you hospitality people for helping with the bus trip. No one went thirsty or hungry.
